[HARLEM RENAISSANCE]. Painting depicting a group of men dancing.
Untitled, oil on canvas board, signed lower right ("Colt"?), mid-20th century. 21 x 17 in. (sight), framed to 25 1/2 x 21 1/2 in. Housed in carved and painted wood frame.
In the Modernist style, a group of four men depicted engaged in movement suggestive of dance. Although no information has been uncovered about the artist, it is evident that s/he was inspired by the Harlem Renaissance.

Condition
Front with some surface grime and surface stains. Humidity and/or water exposure related condition issues. Evidence of water stains on verso along with warped canvas board. Several small white specks on painting. Small losses to frame.
